Conditional Types I and II

- Conditional Type I
Condition; things that probably will happen.

IF + Present Simple + Future “will” / “won’t” + Infinitive

Ex:
• If they go to Iceland, they will go to a geothermal spa.
• You won't feel healthier if you don't practise sport.

- Conditional Type II
Things that probably won’t happen.

IF + Past Simple + Conditional “would”/“could” + Infinitive

Ex:
• If I knew his e-mail address, I would send him a Christmas card.
• I would be able to drive at 17 if I were Australian.
